Child Safety Standards

Our Standards

• Penpal America is intended for adults only. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Child sexual abuse and exploitation is strictly prohibited, including grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking, or any sexualized content involving minors.
• Users must not upload, request, share, promote, or link to child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses a child.
• Users must not impersonate minors, attempt to contact minors for sexual purposes, or use Penpal America to move suspected child exploitation activity to another platform.
• We provide reporting, blocking, profile review, moderation, and account enforcement tools to help address harmful conduct.

Enforcement

When we identify suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may take one or more of the following actions.

• Remove or restrict content that appears to violate these standards.
• Suspend, block, or terminate accounts involved in suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation.
• Preserve relevant information where appropriate for safety, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes.
• Report suspected CSAE or child sexual abuse material to appropriate authorities or reporting organizations where required by law.
